This Policy explains which personal data Petshandler (“Petshandler”, “we”) processes, for what purpose, who it may be shared with, and how you can control your data. By using our app and website you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
Petshandler is a service for pet businesses (grooming salons, pet shops, pet salons) and their clients: online booking, a pet record file, visit history, notifications and an online store. The client app lets you book with your chosen business and follow your pets’ visits.

2. What data we collect
We process only the data you provide yourself or that the service needs in order to work:
- Phone number — used to sign in (confirmed with a one-time code by SMS or Telegram) and to identify your account.
- Name — so the business can see who made the booking.
- Your pets’ details — name, species, breed and any other information you add yourself.
- Bookings and visit history — the services chosen, date and time, the business, and the status and amount of the visit.
- Push notification token — a technical device identifier used to send visit reminders (with your consent).
- Technical data — basic device information and operation logs needed for the stability and security of the service.
We do not collect location data, phone contacts, photos, or any data unrelated to providing the service.
3. How we use the data
- to register you and give you access to the app;
- to create bookings with the business you choose;
- to send service notifications and visit reminders;
- to show you your visit history and your pets’ details;
- to keep the service secure, supported and improving.
4. Push notifications
If you consent to notifications, we send reminders about scheduled visits and other service messages. Push notifications are delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your phone settings.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. It may be shared only with:
- The business you book with — so it can accept and serve your booking (your name, phone number, pet details and visit details).
- Technical service providers that help us operate: an SMS delivery provider, Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) for push notifications, hosting and infrastructure. They process the data only on our instructions and within the limits of this Policy.
- Where required by law — if applicable legislation requires it.
6. Storage and protection
We keep data for as long as it is needed to provide the service and to meet legal requirements. Access to data is restricted and transmission channels are encrypted (HTTPS). We apply organisational and technical measures to protect your data against unauthorised access.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and correct it in the app (the “Account” section);
- delete your pets and edit your profile directly in the app;
- turn notifications off;
- request deletion of your account and the data linked to it by writing to petshandler@gmail.com.
8. Children
The service is intended for adult pet owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
9. Data from connected online stores
A business can connect its Shopify or Horoshop store to Petshandler. In that case we receive orders from the store: the items ordered, the amounts, and the recipient’s contact details — name, phone number, email address and delivery address. This data is used solely so that the business can see and process the order inside Petshandler.
We do not use this data for advertising, do not share it with other businesses, and do not feed it into any third-party service.
We handle store-side requests as follows:
- A shopper’s request for their data — we notify the business, because only it knows what else it holds about that person, and it responds within the period set by the platform.
- A request to erase a shopper’s data — we erase the name, phone number, email address and delivery address from the orders received from that store. The orders themselves remain, anonymised: they are the business’s own records of what was sold, for how much and when.
- Disconnecting a store — we delete the link to the store and the access token it issued.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this address, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
